Roller derby leagues in Finland are run entirely by volunteers – and so is DRRD. We do everything ourselves: we organize our games and tournaments, take care of fundraising, book our venues and organize parties. All skaters and officials take part in running the league, but we also have several members who aren’t players or officials.

Volunteers can take part in event organizing, fundraising and of course all our free time activities. There are always easy tasks that anyone can do available, but if you have any special skills, you might also be able to make use of those. Are you e.g. a photographer, specialized in communications or eager to get us some new sponsors? Then join us! On top of our regular activities we also organize several games or tournaments a year in Turku. For these events we always need plenty of volunteers e.g. to sell tickets, provide first aid and take care of security.
